Recent Mealtimes

Sometimes a real punishment. How dare I make tuna-melts. Sometimes super cute and civilized. Do you eat your cheese slices with a fork?

  1. Obviously your children are terribly spoiled, tuna-melts are the bomb. Also that is one of the cutest eating of cheese slices I've seen in awhile.

  2. That middle child is totally against lunch in any form.

Magdalen is of the age that makes my ovaries contsantly ache.

  3. Tuna melts are indeed amazing. I think I am having that for lunch tomorrow. It has been decided.

Last weekend we babysat one of the most laid back and happiest one year olds in all of creation. And I was thinking 'I gotta get me one of these!'

  5. She mostly only says 'Up' and 'Mum' and 'No'.

She says mum when she wants a thing, and no whether she wants something or not, and up to suggest that she wants to be moved somewhere.

So we were playing the hat game - where you place strange things on your head or her head and say 'Hat!', and everybody giggles. After a couple minutes, anytime I put something on my head that she wanted on her head, she would pat her head and say 'HAT! HAT!'... and then you'd put it on her head and she would contentedly say 'hat.' And then I would put something on my head that she wanted on her head...
